- KORG LEGACY COLLECTION REVIEW MANUAL
I did come back and read through the manual just to understand a few things but I probably wouldn’t haven needed the manual I just got tired of the trial and error stuff (which I tend to do with almost every program and device or equipment that I get)īut the manual is cool, not too hard to navigate through and its not a big thick book either. But after it finally got finished I was able to start using it right away without a manual. I figure its because it’s a bigger program than most of the other ones that I have installed recently.
KORG LEGACY COLLECTION REVIEW INSTALL
The Korg Legacy Collection was easy to install, it did take a while for it to install though. With experience, you do again this choice?. I think it's by far my best investment with Fruityloops!Ī € 650 fesait that expensive anyway, but at the current price, Throw away your advice on it (no no no I sold mine!) How would you rate the quality / price? Not really, I still assess a demo version. Have you tried many other models before buying it? It can not be used without PC (because there is no midi output) I love to tweak it, it sounds good, I shall taste the touch (humm hummm) What is so special that you like most and least? I have not had a problem it is very stable!įor 1 week (hehe I know it's just to give an avi but hey!) It's good MIDI control is instantaneous and is made qu'honnorable. OK, when I put it on more synth in a parallel range ca chouilla train (but I know if it's recommended by the manufacturer!) The software works he correctly on this configuration? What is the configuration of your computer? (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk / sound card. Have you experienced any incompatibilities?ģ clicks to chis previously installed MIDI device is really not complicated! The installation is done it without problems? If you give it some of your love, you'll get back ten times the love you put in. The love factor is increased by the MS-20 controller that you get with the package. I absolutely LOVE the Legacy collection because it brings you back to those good old analogue days. I've got a Sony VAIO laptop with a 3gHz processor and if I run about 6 of these synths at the same time (about half of them having lots of voices and the other half one or two) you can almost litterally see little heatwaves rising from my beloved computer. I've never had any problems with the software besides the fact that you really need a heavy processor to deal with these synths. The MS-20 also has it's additional unison unit built in. For instance, the original (monophonic) MS-20 can now be turned into a 32 voice counting polyphonic synth.

There are even extra options that the original synths didn't have.

I've played both the original MS-20 and Polysix and I must say I was totally blown away by the accuracy in which these lagendary synths are reproduced. The Legacy package contains soft synths of the MS-20, Polysix, Wavestation and the Legacy Cell in which you can combine these different synths and their effects.
KORG LEGACY COLLECTION REVIEW HOW TO
If you don't already know how to use the original synths you may need to invest some time in that but the standalone and vst interface is really easy to use. The features are absolutely not lacking anything in any way whatsoever, in comparison to the original synths it's even got more features.
